Updates....

Hey loves!!  You may remember me mentioning we were playing musical rooms with our kiddos, well, I'm finally pulling the trigger on some new pieces for our littlest.  I just ordered this rug at 75% off from Rugs Usa {use code black75}. Hello early sales!

Rugs USA Tuscan Trellis Flatwoven Grey Rug

His room is also being painted over this holiday weekend {He possibly has been living with one hot pink wall, don't judge}.

Kage has a tiny wall between his closet and bedroom door that I've been dying to utilize.  After seeing these shelves on 6th street design school {in her son, Jett's room}, I knew my dilemma was solved.

I'm also dying to add this Up and Atom Chandelier.  But in the AZ heat, I might settle for a ceiling fan.  Shucks, who wants to be that practical when there are options like these?

I have an idea for window treatments and bedding, but haven't officially decided.

I know I'm not giving you a ton to go on here, I'm still figuring some things out as I go.  But basically if these rooms below were to have a love child.....is what I dream of for his space.

And I'm seriously loving Bijou and Boheme's room for her son.

Let's hope I haven't thoroughly confused you.  It makes me think of equestrian meets nautical voyager.  It's totally a thing.  #projectequestriannauticalvoyager.  There are elements from each room that has my heart racing.  Can't wait to get this party started!!

Speaking of parties, wishing you the happiest Thanksgiving of them all!  We can't wait to spend some quality time with our family and are beyond thankful for this enchanted life we live each day.  I know I don't say this enough, but I'm also thankful for you {my fellow blog stalkers}, with out you, I don't know what I'd do.  Thank you!!!

Happy Monday!!!

Shut the front door, am I the last one to hear about Ikea's new mirrored malm dresser?  Technically it says its not mirror...but foil.  I think I need to see this thing in person...like yesterday.

I picture it being the perfect center for my girls twin beds in their new room they happen to be sharing.  I can't get over how much I love the symmetry of 2 side by side.  Totally normal, right?

Super inspired by this space.  I'm like a broken record when it comes to wallpaper.  Dying to wallpaper something....anything really, just give me some right meow!!!  And me thinks the head board can't be that hard to recreate DIY style.

Have any of you been to Ikea recently?

seeing double

With a potential move ahead {YIKES!!!}....we are obsessing over details.  Currently our children each have their own rooms in the home we are purchasing, but if we make this move, the option of them sharing (boys in one and girls in the other) is definitely on the table.  With that in mind, I tend to take creative breaks from the less fun tasks (such as house shopping online, looking for the best schools and other random facts)....So, lets just say, I've been cheating on actual tasks I need to, with Pinterest.  I mean, which is more fun?  Beautiful pictures or responsibilities?  psssh.  And let me tell you, there are some fantastic rooms!  I love how 2 twins look, not sure why we haven't had them share all along.

Serious fabulousness right?  I think the buffalo check might make its way into one of the rooms.  I imagine their bedrooms staying almost in pristine condition and then having a play room that looks like tornado Lopez hit it.  Is that wishful thinking?

When my baby becomes a toddler

I still can't quite believe it, but our 20 monther is officially a monkey.  He is climbing out of his crib.  After the initial panic passed...I got a little excited thinking about getting to create his toddler room!  This is our mood board so far.

Kage's toddler room

Can't say I'm not just a little sad.  I was hoping this day wouldn't come for quite some time.  For the deets or to shop this look, go here.  Can't wait to keep you updated on our journey.  We plan on playing musical rooms with our kiddos, is going to be an adventure for sure!

xx.  Patience

P.S.  Have you heard of pinerly?  It's an organizational tool for your pins on Pinterest.  Ange from the Blooming Hydrangea mentioned it over the weekend, and I'm dying to see what its all about...the catch?  I need 5 friend to use my link to sign up.  So would you be a peach and hook me up?  Pleeeease?
