Daydreams of a bedroom makeover!

If you're anything like me, changing your bedroom is somewhat therapeutic.  You can indulge yourself in luxuriousness and let the sweet dreams start flowing.  I love being on the hunt for new and vintage items to help make my bedroom a relaxing escape.

I'm currently lusting over padded headboards.  I love the vintage/french/royal look of these beds.  There is something so warm and comfy about them.

I am mesmerized by the mix of patterns in this photo.  Starting to think maybe wallpaper in my bedroom is a fabulous idea!  The settee is to die for also!

Nightstands are a staple in every bedroom.  Why not make them just as spectac?

The headboard was a cheap find and sprayed black and paired with inexpensive Target side tables and white glass lamps. We layered it using bold graphics and a punch of color. , Bedrooms Design

Master BRM - Make it Work, My wife and I had the opportunity to stage and live in a 3000 SF new build this past year and had the challenge of furnishing the space on a limited budget, so little to say we borrowed from our own home and got creative. One dilemma was the master bedroom. We had no money left over for a headboard and we were pressed for time before the designer showhouse, so within 24 hours we came up with a quick solution -- we designed a bold graphic in AutoCad, dropped it into Illustrator, sent it off to be plotted and created a large stencil. We cut out the design, laid it out on the wall, grabbed a gold Sharpie marker and started the process of creating a cool wall design in lieu of a headboard. We can't take all the credit, we had lots of help from our design assistant, Sarah. Thank you for coming to the rescue and pulling it all together! Cost $22. Time 9 hours. , Bedrooms Design

There is one thing I can't get enough of, and that is picture frames!  They are effortlessly beautiful clustered all together on the wall or one by itself.

A special pop of color is great too!

Bedrooms are best kept without too much clutter and free of unnecessary furniture.  One thing I will never part with is some type of seating.  How else can I comfortably put on heels?
