Not to mention, coming off of a fabulously productive weekend, I am one happy mama.
I've been somewhat toying with the idea of 40 bags in 40 days, but hadn't really committed to it exactly. This weekend, I did however get down to business if you will.
With 7 bags dropped off to charity, 8 ready for family, and 2 for girlfriends, I must say I feel pretty accomplished. Where did I come up with the items to fill these bags you ask? Pretty simple actually: 3 kid rooms (clothes, toys, & shoes) and my closet and dresser, shockingly I think I still have work to do in my closet. 17 bags in 2 days? Booyah!
I'm hoping one day, my closet will look more like this:
I would even take this:
Ok, you caught me. I can't help but swoon over the closets in SATC. Unfortunately unless I take over one of my children's bedrooms as my closet I'm stuck with one that is roughly 5x5...yuck.
I can't wait to take this purging and move on to the rest of the house....Along the way, I'm sure I'll be re purposing items to new rooms as well. What can I say? I like things to stay fresh.
xoxo,
Patience
