Last week Clementine and Olive "revealed" my living room. I'm a little overwhelmed by all the love, completely humbled by the sweet comments and thought to myself....maybe its time to share some more pics....even though I don't feel like it's ready. What can I say, you guys, um, gave me the courage I needed. So with out further ado...here is where we spend most of our time (other than the kitchen/dining table).
I feel as though things are finally coming together, but there still happens to be a to-do list....and somehow it continues to grow longer. Such as I'm dying to do something with our side chairs....paint the fabric and wood? Reupholster? Can't decide. I also desperately need to find a throw rug that doesn't cost $600 (with our kiddos and doggies, its just not realistic). I'm even entertaining the idea of painting the walls....however, with our open floor plan, I would be required to also paint the dining room and kitchen. I really want to find a fabulous shelf....brass or another metal with glass shelves. I'm truly obsessed with how much glamour they can bring to a space, plus perfect for all kinds of treasure and book displaying.
Make it a great day!
xo,
Patience

This living room has so many wonderful element, it is hard to pick my favorite! Saw your interview at Blooming Hydrangea, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty room! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about not being ready to reveal a room because it's not done but for me, I find it's more fun being able to share the progress along the way :) When I started my blog, I showed off my living room in one go (once it was mostly finished) and then realised how little I actually got to share of the whole process. Personally, I really like watching how a room progresses on other blogs so decided I wouldn't wait anymore til a room was complete before I showed it off.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I adore your sofa, the octagon table, the touches of gold everywhere and of course that bar cart (must stop mentioning that bar cart or you are going to think I'm bonkers)!
Oooh the chairs... I think they would look amazing with a bold geometric fabric with glossy white wood :) Yum yum!
Hope you are having a fabulous week darlin! xxx
Oh so much good stuff in this pic! I don't even know what to start with. Ok, who am I kidding, you know I LOVE that gold bar cart! Thanks for sharing this fun stuff with us today...nice to see the whole room.
