alternative mixing

I came across this dress about a month ago, and it is straight amaze balls gorgeous.



It definitely would have been a contender for our nuptials last summer.  I love the black details and the va va voom back.  Real jazzy.  Please someone buy this dress and send me pics wearing it, dying to live vicariously through you.  Or maybe you can help me come up with some reasons/places I might need to wear this?

P.S.  I saw someone wearing it at one of the awards shows {they're all running together for me at the moment, shame on me, I know}, and it reminded me I saved it in my cart all those weeks ago.

Photo booth fun!!!

Our wedding wouldn't have been complete with out a glitzy photo booth. Lauren did a fantastic job creating my vision of gold tassel for that not too serious glam factor.

Evidently we all were a little tipsy drinking wine by the jar instead of the glass. Here are some of the girls shots!!

And of course I had to share this photo of me and our Kagey baby. He was so sleepy and ended up napping for a few hours right after the Wedding. But was up to eat, dance and give mama kisses.

wedding wednesday....

Writing this post is making my mouth water already.  You see, I'm a dessert girl, to the max.  I love everything from brownies to pie....especially pie.  Spesh the home made pies my mama used to make.  Since we don't live in the same state, I usually settle for razzleberry, and trust me when I tell you, its not settling, its delish.

So when it comes down to dessert at the wedding, of course Joshy Bobby and I can't just have cake. {who do you think we are?}  We both want all our favs to share all the treats we love on our special day.  Cake pops, brownies, pie, macaroons, cookies...the list could go on forever.  The thought even crossed our minds to not have the traditional cake.  But after talking to Nana {Joshy Bobby's mom}, we might have just a little cake for us to cut.  Lucky for us, Nana and Josh's Aunt, are amazing when it comes to cooking and baking, so they will be helping a lot.  It means so much to have them help and be a part of our special day.

With out further ado, here is a feast {literally} for the eyes of dessert spreads.  Yum.

Now if I could just have 1 of each of these tables, I'd be a happy girl.

So, without giving away all the projects I'm working on for our special day {its really not that many, just a select few that we love}, I thought I'd share with you some recent fabulous pins that I just can't get enough of.  Plus, devouring these photos helps me not to stress with our wedding that is just 7.5 weeks away {where did the time go?}.

Bachelorette getaway...

With a girls weekend in Vegas just 5 weeks away, I'm on a swim suit mission.  I'm obsessing, its just a little ridiculous.  But I have to be prepared for a pool party or 2 and want to look my best.  {mostly cause my girls are drop dead gorg and I can't make them look bad}

wedding wednesday....

If you follow me on facebook, you know I was up before the sun on Sunday...thankfully I was productive and officially have our invites ordered and updated our wedding site.  Love getting stuff done so early in the day.  Call me crazy, but I feel like I have to accomplish/complete something each day to feel "successful".

I can't get enough of these next photos and am determined to do something similar for our special day.  How on point is that heart pallet with the name and date?  NEED it, real bad.

You know this girl loves sweets and how fun would a smores bar be?

This picture is pure magic and is right along the lines of what I'm looking for.

This makes me want to get married in the snow or at least have a photo shoot in our wedding attire...

On a side note...my bachelorette party is in less than 2 months!!  Pretty much ecstatic for girl time, which includes laying out, shopping, spa celebration, and of course dancing!!  Special thanks to Cerita for planning it!  Vegas here we come, circa 2004!!

wedding wednesday...picture love

We are lucky enough to have Tina from Christina Mae photography capturing our special day {in addition to another girlfriend}....Not only is she an amazing friend, she is a huge White Lacquer supporter.  Can't wait to see how the photos turn out.  With our special day only a little over 3 months away, I'm pretty much obsessing over it.

Recently she snapped a few maternity pics that are ridiculously amazing!

How adorbs are those?  The puddle one is my absolute fav.

I also can't get enough of this wedding she shot...

Is it just me, or are more candid type photos way better than the posey prom style pics? I'll prob do some type of combination, but most will definitely be candid or maybe staged candid.

wedding wednesday....coiff's galore

With our big day a little over 3 months away, I have this strange urge to do something with my hair.  I'm trying with all my might to post pone any major changes that I may possibly regret looking back at all the pictures.  In the mean time, I'm still dreaming of bangs and dye jobs.



See the dilemma?  Obsessed with all those pics.  Bored with what I have, but unsure of changes right before a huge event.  I'm sure I'm not alone out there in regretting hair cut/changes.....But, has anyone loved the changes they made right before they're wedding or life changing event?

Looky what I spotted on pinterest.....I know its nothing new, we've all seen the gorg turquoise one.  But these just may have solved my dilemma.

You see, I've been dying to figure out how to hang chandeliers from the tree we plan on getting hitched under, but it just hasn't been very realistic.  Thinking new plan...make some of these bad boys....possibly put a candle in it, or not.  Either way, they would look fab.  White or gold?

Ok, you caught me, I couldn't officially take a "break" from pinterest.  Its too addicting.  But, we really do need to start making decisions....sometimes pinterest makes that hard with all its beautiful different options.  Dang you pinterest!
